PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Basketball fans — you’re in luck this season, because every Rip City Remix home game will be aired on TV.
The NBA G League affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers and KATU-TV announced a new partnership on Thursday to air all 23 home games on KUNP (2.2 via over-the-air antenna), starting with the Remix’s game against the San Diego Clippers on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Chiles Center.
Yang Hansen, the Blazers’16th overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft, is playing with the team Thursday.

“We’re very excited to partner with KATU to bring Remix basketball to fans throughout Rip City,” said Hannah Grauert, president of Business Operations, Rip City Remix. “Broadcasting the games on Rip City Television Network was a natural fit for our team as we continue to develop the future stars of Rip City and grow our deep ties to the community.”
“This represents even more great sports action to add to the family,” said Dean Ditmer, vice president and general manager of KATU and KUNP. “We are proud to be able to showcase this tremendous basketball talent alongside the Trail Blazers on the Rip City TV network.”
The games will air live on KUNP or on tape delay, within 24 hours of ending.
KUNP is already the home of most Blazers games. And basketball fans can catch Blazers’ postgame fun with Joe Simons and Danny Marang on “Rip City Wrap-Up,” airing after each game following the team’s own post-game show. Blazers fans can also watch the show on KATU’s YouTube channel.
The Remix plays their home games at the University of Portland’s Chiles Center.
The team is in its third season.
The G League lets fans enjoy the talents of up-and-coming basketball players at an affordable price.
