The G League’s OKC Blue had a 139-123 loss to the Osceola Magic on Saturday. The home loss dropped its record to 4-8 on the season.

Points came in a hurry for both sides. A fast-paced start saw the Blue in a 42-38 deficit after the first quarter. Things normalized a bit in the second quarter as OKC scored 24 points. The home squad entered halftime in a 73-62 deficit to the Magic.

It was much of the same in the third quarter. The Blue only scored 26 points as the Magic kept their distance on the scoreboard. OKC had it within single digits for a possession, but mostly trailed by double-digit points. They exited the frame in a 105-88 hole.

Both teams put up high-scoring numbers in the fourth quarter. The Blue had 35 points. They made things interesting at times, but never seriously flirted with a comeback attempt. They trailed by as many as 23 points.

The Blue shot 47% from the field and went 19-of-44 (43.2%) from 3. They shot 11-of-14 on free throws. They had 30 assists on 43 baskets. Six Blue players scored double-digit points.

Meanwhile, the Magic shot 59% from the field and went 21-of-37 (56.8%) from 3. They shot 15-of-19 on free throws. They had 30 assists on 46 baskets. Seven Magic players scored double-digit points.
