The National Basketball Association (NBA) Orlando Magic and the New York Knicks advanced to the semifinals of the NBA Cup.
Orlando beat the Miami Heat 117-108 in the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup at the Kia Center on the 10th (Korea Standard Time).
They trailed 17-30 in the first quarter, but turned the tide with a 39-27 lead in the second quarter and a 33-26 lead in the third quarter.

With Franz Wagner out due to a left-footed neck injury, Desmond Bain scored 37 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, Jaylen Suggs scored 20 points, Paolo Banquero scored 18 points and 7 rebounds, and Wendell Carter Jr. scored 14 points and 10 rebounds.
He showed signs of anxiety, allowing 16 points with 17 turnovers, but he overwhelmed Miami with a success rate of 46.9% (15/32) on 3-point shooting, which was only 24.2% (8/33).
For Miami, Norman Powell scored 21 points and 7 rebounds, Tyler Hiro scored 20 points and 7 rebounds, Bam Adebayo scored 19 points and 8 rebounds, and Andrew Wiggins scored 19 points, but the color faded.
The match between the two teams was held on the same day as a regular-season game. Orlando went 15-10 and Miami went 14-11.

In the next game, the New York Knicks beat the Toronto Raptors 117-101.
New York, which exchanged seven ties and 10 reversals until the beginning of the second quarter, then widened the gap, and the second half took a one-sided trend.
All starters scored in double digits, with Jaylen Brunson scoring 35 points, Josh Hart scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds, and Carl-Anthony Towns scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds.
Toronto’s Brandon Ingram worked hard with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, and Jamal Shed with 18 points and 9 assists, but it faded.
The two teams will play in the NBA Cup semifinals on the 14th.
