Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker will be back by Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers or the team’s next game on Dec. 18 against the Golden State Warriors, Arizona Sports‘ John Gambadoro reported on Thursday.
Jalen Green, meanwhile, is on track to return by the end of December or in early January, Gambadoro said on Burns & Gambo.

Booker has missed the past three games due to a groin strain, and the Suns have gone 1-2.
He was questionable for Wednesday’s NBA Cup matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder but did not play, and Phoenix lost by a franchise-record 49 points.
In 22 games, Booker has averaged 25 points per contest.
Jalen Green injury update
Hamstring issues have limited to Green to 29 minutes played this season across two games.
He missed the first eight games after coming over in an offseason trade that sent Kevin Durant to Houston. He scored 29 points in his Suns debut on Nov. 6, but he exited the following game after re-aggravating his hamstring.
The Suns have eight more games in December before the calendar flips, four against the Lakers and Warriors.
