The Milwaukee Bucks have had a disappointing start to their season as they currently sit 10th in the Eastern Conference standings with a 10-15 record.
Of course, the Bucks entered the season with many unknowns surrounding the team after being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs once again last season, though they did add Myles Turner to their core of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kyle Kuzma and Ryan Rollins in the offseason.

Despite this, it has not been the start to the season that Milwaukee wanted as they find themselves on the edge of the Play-In picture early in the season and with Giannis currently sidelined due to injury, major changes could come ahead of the trade deadline.
If that is the case, all eyes are going to be on Giannis’ future in Milwaukee and the superstar forward has entered trade rumors once again after ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Giannis and his agent have met with the Bucks about his future.

Because of this, many around the NBA believe that the two-time MVP could be on the move this season and many teams have been linked to him.
Knicks May Show Interest in Giannis Antetokounmpo Before Trade Deadline
Among those teams are the New York Knicks as they have been linked to Giannis over the past few seasons.

New York currently sits second in the East and they may look to pull off a trade for Giannis to pair him alongside their core of Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges to help them chase a title this season.

Mock Trade Sends Giannis to Knicks for OG Anunoby
In a potential trade, the Bucks could send Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo to the Knicks in exchange for OG Anunoby, Mitchell Robinson, Miles McBride and multiple first-round picks.

While moving on from Giannis would be a tough decision for the Bucks to make, swapping him for solid veterans in Anunoby and Robinson, along with a solid young guard in McBride, could set themselves up better for their future without their superstar forward.

For Anunoby, he would provide Milwaukee with a reliable scorer and defender at the forward position who could fit in well alongside Turner, Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr. in the lineup.

This season, the 28-year-old forward is averaging 15.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 47.8% from the field and 39.4% from three.
The Bucks would also get a solid backup center in Robinson who is a great defender, though he has struggled to stay healthy during his career.

McBride would give the Bucks another solid scoring option off the bench while they would also receive multiple first-round picks to help with the franchise’s future.
While this trade could work for the Bucks as it could keep them competitive in the East, they may look to gain young players in return for Giannis in a potential trade if they decide to start a complete rebuild.
If that ends up being the case, the Knicks may be out of the running for the star forward as Milwaukee could look elsewhere to help with their potential rebuild.
