Minnesota takes on the Golden State Warriors Friday night after Anthony Edwards scored 40 points in the Timberwolves’ 108-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns.

Unfortunately, the Wolves won’t have Edwards in the matchup in San Francisco. He’s listed as out with right foot soreness, the team announced Friday afternoon.

Friday’s meeting is the first of the season for the teams. Golden State is 10-7 against the Western Conference, and Minnesota is 10-8 against conference opponents.

Perennial All-Star Steph Curry will play for the Warriors after missing five games with a quad injury. Draymond Green, however, will be out due to personal reasons.

Point guard Mike Conley Jr. will also be out for Minnesota due to a minor Achilles injury.
