In Saturday’s victory over the Rockets, Anthony Davis led the way for the Mavericks as he recorded 29 points and eight rebounds while Brandon Williams added 20 points and five assists of his own off the bench.
Now Dallas will try to grab another victory at home on Friday night as they host a struggling Nets team.
On the other side, Brooklyn enters Friday’s contest with a 6-17 record after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans at home on Saturday.

Michael Porter Jr. led the way for the Nets in Saturday’s victory as he ended the game with 35 points and nine rebounds while Nic Claxton recorded a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up another victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Nets Injury Report, Will Cam Thomas Play?
For the Nets, they have two players listed on their injury report for Friday’s game, including guard Cam Thomas.

Brooklyn has ruled out Thomas as he remains sidelined due to a left hamstring strain that has kept him out since he suffered the injury against the Indiana Pacers on November 5, though he has been cleared for on-court work and is expected to be re-evaluated in one week.

With Thomas still sidelined, Egor Demin, Terance Mann and Tyrese Martin will likely continue to have increased roles.
The Nets have also ruled out Haywood Highsmith as he remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from right knee surgery.
Mavericks Injury Report, Will Daniel Gafford, Klay Thompson Play?
On the other side, the Mavericks have four players listed on their injury report, including center Daniel Gafford.

Dallas has listed Gafford as doubtful due to right ankle injury management and he is expected to miss his third consecutive game.

With Gafford unlikely to play against the Nets, Dwight Powell could be in line for a larger role off the bench behind Davis, especially with Dereck Lively II set to miss the remainder of the season after undergoing right foot surgery.

The Mavericks have ruled out Kyrie Irving and Dante Exum as they remain sidelined while recovering from injuries but the good news for Dallas is that Klay Thompson is off the injury report and will play after missing Saturday’s victory due to a knee injury.
