The San Antonio Spurs beat the No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference to reach the NBA Cup final.

San Antonio beat Oklahoma City 111-109 in the NBA Cup semifinals at T-Mobile Arena on the 14th (Korea time).

San Antonio went 18-7 with a win in the regular-season game. On the other hand, Oklahoma City recorded 24 wins and 2 losses with 16 consecutive wins suspended.

San Antonio, which was once dragged to 16 points in the second quarter, narrowed the gap late in the second quarter and took the victory after exchanging 6th and 11th innings of the second half tie. Victor Wembanyama’s jump shot with 2:32 left in the fourth quarter turned the game around 102-101 and didn’t give up the lead.

Wembanyama, who returned from injury on the day, started on the bench and played 20 minutes and 39 seconds, scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds. He recorded five turnovers, but he recorded two assists, one steal, and two block shots at the same time.

Devin Bachel scored 23 points, and Stefon Castle and De’Aaron Fox scored 22 points side by side.

Shay Gilgers-Alexander scored 29 points and Jaylen Williams and Chet Hommegren had 17 points and seven rebounds for Oklahoma City.

In another semifinal match at the same venue earlier, the New York Knicks advanced to the final with a 132-120 win over the Orlando Magic.

Jaylen Brunson added 40 points and 8 assists, Carl-Anthony Thomas added 29 points and 8 rebounds, and OG Anunobi added 24 points and 6 rebounds.

Orlando’s Jaylen Suggs worked hard with 26 points and seven assists, Paolo Vanquero with 25 points and eight rebounds, and Desmond Bain with 18 points, six rebounds and seven assists, but it did not change the results.

The NBA Cup final between San Antonio and New York will be held at T-Mobile Arena on the 17th.
