Derrian Ford scored 24 points as Temple handled St. Francis, 95-67, Sunday.
Ford had six rebounds for the Owls (6-5). Aiden Tobiason had 19 points with four 3-pointers. Gavin Griffiths made 5 of 8 from beyond the arc and scored 17.
Skylar Wicks finished with 22 points and six rebounds for the Red Flash (2-9). Gestin Liberis (Havertown native/George School) pitched in eight points, six rebounds and three blocks.
Women’s Basketball
La Salle took a while to get going, but the Explorers turned it on behind 14 points each from Ashleigh Connor and Ivona Miljanic to defeat Maryland-Eastern Shore, 63-58.
La Salle (7-3) trailed 18-5 after one quarter. But Miljanic, off the bench, supplied a spark, hitting four 3-pointers.
Connor added five rebounds and four assists. Aryss Macktoon paired 14 points with six rebounds. Kiara Williams added 11 points, six boards, three blocks and three steals.
