Jaden Ivey’s Pistons role has changed. Here’s how he’s handling it
Jaden Ivey spoke Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at Detroit Pistons practice about overcoming injuries, his role change and mindset.
The Detroit Pistons visit the Boston Celtics for a nationally-streamed game Monday, Dec. 15, in Boston.
The game time is 7 p.m. ET, with the TV channel locally on FanDuel Sports Network Detroit and streaming for all audiences on Peacock.
The Pistons (20-5) lead the Eastern Conference at roughly the one-third mark of the NBA season, while the Celtics (15-10) have also been a surprise, standing third in the East despite overhauling their roster in the offseason with Jayson Tatum (Achilles) out.
Boston, led by Jaylen Brown, ended the Pistons’ franchise-tying 13-game win streak at TD Garden on Nov. 26, 117-114, after Cade Cunningham (42 points) missed a tying free throw in the final seconds.

Will the Pistons get some revenge today? Here’s our Pistons vs. Celtics prediction with a score, and how to watch the matchup on TV or streaming:
Pistons vs Celtics prediction
Omari Sankofa II, Detroit Free Press: The Pistons successfully fought off a late Celtics run in a 119-113 win in their home opener Oct. 26. But the Celtics got their revenge in Boston a month later, knocking down 20 3-pointers to end the Pistons’ 13-game winning streak and hand them their third loss of the season. It should be another thriller Monday in Boston, but I like the Pistons’ chances. They’ve won five of their last six and have done a better job of denying open 3-pointers. The pick: Pistons 122, Celtics 117.
Pistons injury report vs Celtics
The Pistons’ entire regular rotation is healthy in a rare occurrence.
The Celtics are still without Tatum, who is recovering from Achilles surgery. Boston is also relatively healthy. Point guard Payton Pritchard is questionable with neck spasms, per the NBA injury report at 2:30 p.m.
Pistons vs Celtics time, TV, streaming
The Pistons game will be available locally in the Detroit market on FSND and on the network’s app, and it will also be streamed nationally on Peacock.
