Oddsmakers see more trophies in the Knicks’ future.

While there won’t be a banner hanging in Madison Square Garden for the in-season NBA Cup win, oddsmakers at BetMGM have the Knicks as clear favorites to win the Eastern Conference (+300).

They have better odds than the Cavaliers, who are +375, and the Pistons, who still sit at +500 despite a strong start to their season.

Last week, the Knicks owned +375 odds, while the Cavaliers were the favorites at +325.

Mike Brown’s group struggled a bit to start the season, and there was legitimate concern surrounding their roster meshing with a new coach.

The Knicks did get as high as +400 at one point at the end of November, but the reversal and NBA Cup win is clearly a boon to their future outlook.

DraftKings is seeing a ton of love from the betting community surrounding the Knicks this year, as well.

“The Knicks are consistently one of the most popular teams among bettors, and when they’re viewed as a legitimate Finals contender, engagement rises even further. This season, we’ve seen strong interest across the board, and we expect that momentum to continue throughout the year,” Johnny Avello, DraftKings’ Director of Sports Operations, tells The Post.

DraftKings also tells The Post that Jalen Brunson is the fourth-most bet-on player across all player prop bets.

Oddly enough, though, Brown’s group also opened at +700 to win the NBA Finals, but those odds have fallen off precipitously, perhaps showing value on this market.

As of Dec. 1, BetMGM downgraded the Knicks to win the NBA Finals to 16/1, the sixth-best mark in the league.

They are still pretty far down the odds board at the time of writing.

The Knicks are 13/1 to win the NBA Finals despite being the clear Eastern Conference favorites, ranking fourth among the 30 teams.

The Thunder have been upgraded big time since the season started. Oklahoma City opened at +240 odds and is all the way down to +115.

Just 6.8 percent of the money is on the Knicks to win the NBA Finals, BetMGM tells The Post, with an obscene 25.8 percent on the favored Thunder.

Betting on the NBA?

Bettors have been backing the Knicks to win the Eastern Conference, who are far away from the Goliath Thunder, with 24.2 percent of the Eastern Conference finals winner money coming in on the Knicks, which ranks the most among the 15 eligible teams.

The Pistons are second (22.3 percent), while the Cavaliers come in at a distant third (10.8 percent), MGM continued.

The Philadelphia 76ers, who are considered to be having a solid season with a young nucleus, along with veterans Paul George and Joel Embiid, have actually seen their odds go in the wrong direction.

Philadelphia opened at 11/1 to win the East and has now fallen to 16/1 despite a 14-11 record.
