Duke basketball returns to Madison Square Garden for another marquee matchup against Texas Tech in the SentinelOne Classic.
The No. 3 Blue Devils (11-0) will face the No. 19 Red Raiders (8-3) at Madison Square Garden at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. It will be the third matchup between the two programs, with Duke owning the series 2-0. The teams have faced off once at Madison Square Garden before in 2018, seven years ago to the day of this year’s meeting. Duke won 69-58.
Duke is coming off a 97-73 win over Lipscomb on Dec. 16, overcoming a turnover-and-foul-heavy first half to outscore the Bison 49-28 in the second half. It marked fourth-year head coach Jon Scheyer’s 100th career win, making him the fastest coach in ACC history to reach 100 wins.
Texas Tech is coming off a 101-90 win over Northern Colorado on Dec. 16. The Red Raiders are still looking for their first win over a ranked opponent, going 0-3 against Illinois (81-77), Purdue (85-56) and Arkansas (93-86).
