Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected during Saturday’s game against the Phoenix Suns following an altercation with guard Collin Gillespie.
Early in the second quarter, Green blocked a Gillespie shot and then proceeded to stare down Gillespie. As both players went across court, Green shoved Gillespie and was called for a technical foul.
After an argument with refs, Green was later called for a second tech and was ejected from the game as he had to held back by his teammates before leaving the court. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was later called for a technical foul following an argument with officials following the Green ejection.

Prior to the ejection, Green scored four points and grabbed three rebounds in eight minutes played.
Green certainly has a history of altercations with Suns players as he was suspended 12 games after striking then-Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face during a game in December 2023.
The second quarter was a chippy one as Devin Booker was called for a technical foul late in the frame. Booker led the Suns with 20 points as the Suns led 67-64 at half despite Phoenix leading by as many as 14 points.
