See the latest injury update for Pelicans wing Herb Jones, who headed to the locker room early during Monday’s game against the Mavericks.
New Orleans Pelicans wing Herb Jones suffered an apparent injury during Monday’s game vs. the Dallas Mavericks and is in the locker room.
It’s unclear at this time how exactly the injury occurred, but it’s likely a lower-body issue since Jones limped to the locker room in the third quarter.

Jones played 22 minutes in Monday’s game, recording nine points, four assists and two rebounds.
If Jones doesn’t return tonight or misses any extended time, Saddiq Bey could see additional minutes. It may not translate to shot attempts though since Jones is largely a low-usage player.
At 27 years old, Jones remains an excellent role player as one of the premier defenders in the NBA. He posts 9.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while also tallying 2.0 combined stocks. He’s found his way into trade conversations as of late and will be a name to monitor on the open market in the coming month.
The Pelicans are 7-22 prior to the end of tonight’s game, placing them dead last in the Western Conference standings.
