CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Charlotte Hornets rookie and former Duke star Kon Knueppel became the fastest player in NBA history to make 100 three-pointers, breaking the record by 12 games.
It took the rising rookie just 29 games to get 100 made three-pointers, 12 games ahead of Lauri Markkanen, who reached that mark in 41 games during the 2017-18 season.
For the NBA’s all-time leader in three-pointers made, Steph Curry, it took him 58 games to reach 100 mark.
Knueppel, was the No. 4pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and is averaging 19.4 points per game, while shooting 41.1% from behind the arc.
Fellow teammate Brandon Miller reached 100 made three pointers in 43 games, ranking him the fifth fastest to reach that mark.
