For the first time in 14 months, Zion Williamson could be playing in back-to-back games.

The New Orleans Pelicans’ forward was not listed on the injury report for Tuesday night’s road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The only players listed on Tuesday’s report were Herb Jones (right ankle sprain), Jordan Poole (left ankle soreness) and Dejounte Murray (Achilles).

Jones has been ruled out, while Poole is listed as questionable. Murray hasn’t played since January.

Williamson, meanwhile, hasn’t played on consecutive nights since late October of last season when he played in a pair of games against the Golden State Warriors.

Williamson scored 24 points to go with nine rebounds and three assists in Monday’s 119-113 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in the Smoothie King Center.

Pelicans’ interim head coach James Borrego was asked after Monday’s game if Williamson would be able to play again on Tuesday.

“We’ll figure it out on the flight,” Borrego said. “We’ll evaluate him on the plane and talk to the performance team and see where we are.”

Tuesday’s injury report suggests that he will.

Williamson played 25 minutes Monday. He has come off the bench in all four games since his return from a Grade 2 right hip adductor strain. The Pelicans won all four of those games and are currently on a 5-game winning streak heading into Tuesday’s game against the Cavs (16-14).

Williamson has embraced his role coming off the bench. He scored 10 of his points in the fourth quarter Monday.

”I love being the closer,” Williamson said. “I love when my teammates and coaches trust me to be a closer.”

The Pelicans’ 5-game winning streak is the second longest active streak in the league. It trails only the San Antonio Spurs, winners of six straight.
