Giannis Antetokounmpo again addresses rumors of future with Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo again talks about rumors about his contentment and future with the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 18, 2025.

INDIANAPOLIS — Milwaukee Bucks guard Gary Trent Jr. was helped to the locker room with 12.8 seconds remaining in the first quarter of the team’s game against the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Dec. 23 after a fall.

The Bucks ruled him out for the game about halfway through the second quarter. The initial diagnosis by the club was a contusion on his left calf.

The Bucks shooting guard pulled down a long rebound and got out on a fast break and made a layup with 21.6 seconds left to give his team a 26-19 lead. But he landed awkwardly and spun down on the baseline under the basket and stayed down as play resumed. Teammate Gary Harris committed a foul on the other end to stop play, and then the Bucks called timeout to help get Trent to the locker room.

Trent left the game after scoring five points in five minutes to help the Bucks to a 26-20 lead after the first quarter.
