It was fun while it lasted.

The five-game win streak is over for the New Orleans Pelicans after a 141-118 blowout loss in Cleveland.

The Cavaliers put on a display of 3-pointers and dunks all evening, controlling play from start to finish as the Pelicans had no answer on the defensive end of the floor.

The Pelicans led 3-0 and that was the last of the good side of the ledger for New Orleans.

Cleveland got whatever it wanted on the offensive end all night.

The Cavaliers destroyed New Orleans from 3-point range, outscoring the Pelicans 60-33 from while outrebounding New Orleans 49-43.

Cleveland shot 53 percent from the field. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 27 points.

Zion Williamson scored 26 points in just 21 minutes and he had five rebounds. Derik Queen had 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Playing its third game in four nights and its second of a back-to-back proved too much for the Pelicans to handle.

The Pelicans return home to host Phoenix in back-to-back games Friday and Saturday.
