It wouldn’t be the holidays without the Golden State Warriors. For the 13th consecutive time, the Warriors will suit up on Christmas Day. For their primetime holiday matchup on Thursday, the Warriors will welcome back an old friend to San Francisco’s Chase Center — Klay Thompson.

Thompson will return to the Bay Area in his second season with the Dallas Mavericks, alongside new teammates Anthony Davis and 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg. The 12-19 Mavericks are coming off an impressive win over the Denver Nuggets, where Flagg and Davis combined for 64 points.

After dropping three straight, the Warriors have won two games in a row to get back to .500 on the season at 15-15.
