The Golden State Warriors brought some necessary cheer to their fans after beating the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas. The franchise has been dealing with some controversy following a courtside altercation between Steve Kerr and Draymond Green. And Jimmy Butler had a truly wild comment to make about the situation.
Green left the Warriors game against the Orlando Magic early after getting into a heated argument with his head coach. In the aftermath, Kerr said that things between them were resolved. But while the issue would be a problem to most in a normal NBA locker room, Butler seemingly loved it.

“That’s just part of the game,” Butler told the media. “When you’ve been together for so long, y’all going to have arguments. It ain’t going to be quiet all the time. Like, it’s okay. You got two fierce competitors that have won it together and that want to continually win.
“I’m just looking up like, ‘All right, here we…’ like I expect that to happen. That’s okay. We move on from it. I like that y’all yell at each other. Turn me on a little bit. I’m not going to even lie. I like that. I like the confrontation. It’s good for us.

Butler has historically been confrontational throughout his career. Additionally, he’s not afraid to speak his mind either. That combination is what likely led to Jimmy’s hilarious comment. The Warriors have won three games in a row, too, so maybe this could actually work out for the best.— Enjoy free coverage of the top news & trending stories on The Big Lead —
