Abby Ball led Cherokee, No. 19 in the NJ.com Top 20, with 12 points in its 48-13 triumph against Northern Burlington in the SJIBT Holiday Showcase held at Clearview High School in Mullica Hill.
Cherokee (4-0) is off to its best start to a season since the 2019-2020 season. Cherokee went 30-1 that season and won its first 22 games.
Cherokee led 24-2 in the first half against Northern Burlington and held Northern Burlington scoreless in the second quarter.
Breille Alaba scored 11 points for Cherokee. Nadia Alaba and Brooke Bertolino each scored six points.
Priscilla Kowalczyk led Northern Burlington (0-5) with nine points.
