Scottie Barnes gave fantasy managers a fright during Friday’s loss to the Wizards, briefly leaving the game in the second half with a left hip injury. Fortunately, he was able to return, finishing with 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting, seven assists, and four rebounds.
Fantasy Impact:
While the assist total and his return to action were positives, the performance continued a recent cooling trend for the star forward. Over the last two weeks, Barnes has slipped to fifth-round value in eight-category formats—a noticeable dip from his season-long second-round production. He will look to rebound and shake off the injury concern when the Raptors host the Warriors on Sunday.
