The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads.

The Thunder (26-5) hope to get back into the groove of things and break a two-game losing streak. Their first real challenger to their back-to-back aspirations was revealed on Christmas. They suffered a shocking 117-102 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was limited to 22 points.

Meanwhile, the Sixers (16-13) have also lost two straight. They dropped a 109-102 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Friday. Joel Embiid had a vintage performance that went in vain with an efficient 31 points.

Thunder 120, Sixers 105: The Thunder should return to their winning ways. What happened with the Spurs is concerning, but the regular-season marathon continues along. The Sixers provide a good get-right matchup for OKC. Even though they’ve been surprisingly solid this year, the reigning NBA champions are on another level from the rest of the league. This should be the first time the standard starting lineup will collect a win this season. Gilgeous-Alexander should be able to get an efficient 30-plus points.

ODDS: Thunder by 14.5 points
