It seemed quite exciting when Seth Curry joined the Golden State Warriors.

He’d get to take the court with his legendary brother, Steph Curry. He’d also add another sharpshooter to a Warriors team that could use one.

Instead, Seth has hardly been on the court.

He’s been ruled out Sunday with injury, and it’s one that sounds familiar because LeBron James dealt with a similar ailment earlier in the season: Sciatic nerve irritation.

That’s not an ideal one for Seth, as it can be tough to overcome in short order.

All the Warriors can really know for now is that Seth is out in the near-term.

He has played in just two games so far.

His total stats across two games were 32 minutes, 2-for-4 from 3, 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

If the 35-year old can ever get healthy, he’d be a great addition to the permanent rotation.

For now, though, the Warriors are waiting. All Seth can do is watch, and all Golden State is keep doing its best without one of its potentially key depth guards.
