For the second time this season, the Memphis Grizzlies will have a matchup against the Washington Wizards with a chance to get back to a .500 record.

The first time came on Dec. 20, when the Wizards came into FedExForum and knocked off the Grizzlies. The Dec. 28 matchup at Capital One Arena will be the second and final meeting this season between the Wizards and Grizzlies.

Memphis is much healthier for this matchup. Brandon Clarke was injured in the first quarter of the previous matchup, leaving Memphis with eight healthy rotation players. The Grizzlies have Ja Morant back at point guard after he missed the previous meeting.

Center Jock Landale, who missed a Dec. 26 game due to right calf soreness, is questionable to play. If he’s unable to go, Christian Koloko could be in line for more playing time.

Washington is coming off a 21-point win over the Toronto Raptors. The Wizards (6-23) have the second worst record in the NBA, but they have players capable of playing the spoiler role.

Kyshawn George and CJ McCollum finished with 28 points apiece when the Wizards beat Memphis. George will be out for this meeting due to left hip flexor soreness.

Memphis is 33-25 in all-time meetings against Washington.
