In Saturday’s victory over the Hawks, Karl-Anthony Towns led the way for the Knicks as he recorded 36 points and 15 rebounds while Jalen Brunson added 34 points and five assists of his own.

Now New York will try to grab another victory on the road on Monday as they face off against a struggling Pelicans team.

On the other side, New Orleans enters Monday’s contest with an 8-25 record after losing at home to the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

New York has ruled out Hart due to a right ankle sprain as he will miss his second consecutive contest and he is also expected to miss Wednesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs as he is set to be re-evaluated after the Knicks’ road trip.

With Hart sidelined, Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek could continue to have increased roles for the Knicks.

The Knicks have also ruled out Robinson due to left ankle injury management while Landry Shamet remains sidelined as he continues to recover from a right shoulder sprain.

Miles McBride has been listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain and there is a chance that he could return from an eight-game absence due to the injury on Monday against the Pelicans.

On the other side, the Pelicans have three players listed on their injury report, including both Herb Jones and Jose Alvarado.

New Orleans has ruled out Jones due to right ankle sprain as he will miss his fourth consecutive game.

With Jones sidelined once again, Bryce McGowens will likely continue to fill in for him in the starting lineup.

The Pelicans have also ruled out Alvarado as he is set to miss their next two games due to him being suspended by the league for two games for his role in Saturday’s altercation with Suns center Mark Williams that included both players throwing punches.

With Alvarado sidelined, Jordan Poole and Jordan Hawkins could both have increased roles off the bench.

Dejounte Murray has also been ruled out as he continues to recover from a torn Achilles he suffered last season.
