The Oklahoma City Thunder play the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet.

This will be the fourth matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC has won two of the previous three games. Last time, OKC went to Portland to get a win on Nov. 30.

The Thunder (28-5) avoided an upset with a 140-129 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had an efficient 39 points and six assists as OKC’s league-best defense continues to see some recent leakage.

Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers (14-19) escaped with a 125-122 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. Deni Avdija had a near 27-point triple-double. Considering the first batch of All-Star votes, he could be a first-time member this season.

The Thunder’s defense needs to get back in a groove. This is the perfect opportunity to do that. No offense to the Trail Blazers, but their starting backcourt doesn’t really scream ball security. Considering how ugly Portland’s offense can get, expect OKC to get a get-right game on that side of the floor. If Gilgeous-Alexander does his usual thing, this should be a relatively stress-free win ahead of New Year’s.

Prediction: Thunder 114, Trail Blazers 102
