The New York Knicks will host the Indiana Pacers for Game 2 on 05/23 in hopes of leveling the Eastern Conference Finals series. Game 1 saw the Pacers erase a late 17-point deficit to complete an amazing OT win. There were several amazing performances as four players scored 30 or more points. As we are set for a high-scoring series, here is a look at the playoff props for ECF Game 2 on FanDuel and BetMGM.
NBA Playoffs Props NBA Betting Picks ECF Game 2
Jalen Brunson O 29.5 Points for -125 (BetMGM)
The Pacers allow their opponents’ top scorer to go off for big nights. In the first round, they allowed Milwaukee Bucks’ ace Giannis Antetokounmpo to average 33 points per game. During the second series, they let Donovan Mitchell put up 34.2 PPG(Could have been more if he was not injured after logging 12 minutes).
In Game 1, they allowed Brunson to go off for a 43-point night after he had averaged below 27 PPG in the previous series. I expect JB to have another 30+ points night here.
Karl-Anthony Towns O 11.5 Rebounds for -125 (FanDuel)
Towns resumed his incredible rebounding work in Game 1 from where he left off in the series against the Boston Celtics. The resilient board collector pulled down 12 boards to go “Over” the projected stipulation for the seventh time in nine games.
I expect Game 2 to be a low-scoring one compared to the series opener, so I believe he can hoard 12+ rebounds again.
Tyrese Haliburton U 9.5 Assists for -136 (FanDuel)
Haliburton was the key figure during the Pacers’ Game 1 comeback, contributing 31 points while also delivering 11 assists. Overall, his helpers have been down. The Floor Manager averaged 7 APG against the Cavs but did dish 11.6 APG against the Bucks in the first round.
At any rate, I see him go “Under” for this game as I expect the Knicks’ defense to curb the Pacers’ offensive production significantly from Game 2.
Mikal Bridges O 1.5 three-pointers for -125 (BetMGM)
The Knicks Wing isn’t exactly a consistent three-point shooter, but can go on certain runs every now and then. He attempted just one triple in Game 1 and missed it. Before that, he had made over 1.5 three-pointers in three of the six games. I believe he will nail 2 in the second game of the series.
Josh Hart O 10. 5 rebounds for +108 (FanDuel)
The Knicks’ all-around guard has grabbed 11 or more rebounds in two straight games. He had four straight games grabbing under 10 rebounds. I see him having another huge game on the boards, collecting 10+ rebounds for the third straight match, and even having a triple-double for the game.
