The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Charlotte Hornets on Monday. This will be the second matchup of the season between the two squads. Last time, OKC cruised to a win on Nov. 15.

The Thunder (30-6) look to bounce back from a 108-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. Devin Booker scored the game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander struggled with 25 points on 8-of-22 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Hornets (12-23) enjoyed a 112-99 win over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Miles Bridges had 26 points and 14 rebounds in the upset victory. Much-needed for a team that’s fallen in the standings.

This should be the perfect get-right opportunity. The Hornets are one of the NBA’s worst defenses. The reigning MVP should return to business as usual with an efficient 30-plus points. OKC has been nearly unbeatable at home. Charlotte is on the opposite side of the NBA highway. This should be a stress-free win for the reigning NBA champions.
