The Magic defeated the Indiana Pacers 135-127 on Sunday, improving to 12-5 in Central Florida. They trailed by eight points after the first 12 minutes, but outscored the Pacers 41-22 in the second quarter and led for most of the remainder of the game.
Desmond Bane produced a team-high 31 points, six rebounds and six assists, Paolo Banchero tallied 28 points and 12 rebounds and Anthony Black added 27 points and 10 assists. The Magic improved to 5-0 when Bane has at least 30 points this season.
The Magic and Wizards are meeting for the second of four matchups. Orlando took the first contest on Nov. 1 and has won 11 straight games in the head-to-head series.
