MEMPHIS — The Phoenix Suns will conclude a two-game road trip Jan. 7 against the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.
The 6 p.m. game is being televised on 3TV and Arizona’s Family Sports.
The Suns (21-15) are coming off a 100-97 loss Jan. 5 to the Houston Rockets in the second of a back-to-back as Kevin Durant hit 3 with 1.1 seconds remaining at Toyota Center.
Wednesday’s game against Phoenix will be the second of a back-to-back for the Grizzlies (16-20), who stunned the San Antonio Spurs, 106-105, Jan. 6 at home.
Memphis defeated the Suns back in October, 114-113, in Phoenix as Ja Morant hit a game-winning jumper with 7.6 seconds left. The loss was part of Phoenix’s 1-4 start to the 2025-26 season. The Suns have gone 20-11 since.
Phoenix will be without Jalen Green (right hamstring strain) and two-way player Jamaree Bouyea (concussion protocol), while Jordan Goodwin is listed as available with a jaw sprain and will continue to wear a mask.
Starters: Grizzlies down Morant
The Suns are starting Collin Gillespie, Devin Booker, former Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks, Royce O’Neale and Mark Williams.
Ja Morant (right calf contusion) is ruled out as is Vince Williams Jr. (left patellar tendinitis) as both were previously listed as questionable.
Jaren Jackson Jr. (illness) and Santi Aldama (right ankle soreness) are available after previously being listed as questionable. Jackson posted 21 points, nine rebounds and shot 5-of-7 from 3 in leading Memphis past the Spurs.
Cam Spencer, Jaylen Wells, GG Jackson II, former Suns big Jock Landale and Jackson Jr. are getting the start for the Grizzlies.
Zach Edey (left ankle stress reaction), Ty Jerome (right calf strain), Brandon Clarke (right calf strain) and Cedric Coward (left ankle sprain) are ruled out for Memphis.
