In Tuesday’s victory over the Kings, Cooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks as he recorded 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists while Anthony Davis added 19 points and 16 rebounds of his own.

Now Dallas will try to grab another victory on the road on Thursday as they face off against a struggling Jazz team.

On the other side, Utah enters Thursday’s contest with a 12-24 record after losing on the road to the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime on Wednesday night.

Lauri Markkanen led the way for the Jazz in Wednesday’s loss as he ended the game with 29 points and 13 rebounds while Keyonte George recorded 25 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Mavericks, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both P.J. Washington and Brandon Williams.

Dallas has listed Washington as doubtful due to a right ankle sprain and he is expected to miss his second consecutive contest.

With Washington likely to be sidelined once again on Wednesday, Naji Marshall and Caleb Martin could both be in line for larger roles.

The Mavericks have listed Williams as questionable due to a right heel contusion and he is in danger of missing his first game since December 27.

If Williams is sidelined, Ryan Nembhard and D’Angelo Russel could both have larger roles against the Jazz.

Utah has listed Bailey as questionable due to a left hip flexor strain and though he did return from a five-game absence in Wednesday’s loss, the Jazz may elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.

If Bailey is sidelined against the Mavericks, Brice Sensabaugh and Taylor Hendricks could be in line for larger roles.

The Jazz have also listed Nurkic as questionable due to a toes sprain and he is in danger of missing his first game since January 3.

If Nurkic is sidelined, Kyle Filipowski will likely draw a start in his place alongside Markkanen in the frontcourt.
