SALT LAKE CITY: Charlotte Hornets secured an emphatic 150-95 victory over the Utah Jazz here at the Delta Center on Saturday, extending their dominance with a fifth consecutive win against Utah.

The Hornets exploded from beyond the arc, hitting 24 three-pointers while shooting 41% from long range, with LaMelo Ball leading the charge. Ball scored 17 points, including five three-pointers, as Charlotte ran riot on both ends of the floor.

The Hornets never trailed in the contest and built a commanding lead early, outpacing the Jazz 45-32 in the first quarter. Tre Mann starred for Charlotte, adding 20 points, while Brandon Miller also contributed 18.

Miles Bridges and Collin Sexton each chipped in with 15 points. In total, nine Hornets players scored in double figures, underscoring their offensive depth.

Defensively, the Hornets limited Utah to a mere 41% shooting from the field, including a poor 7-of-31 from 3-point range. The Jazz were without their leading scorer, Lauri Markkanen, which hampered their ability to compete.

Brice Sensabaugh led Utah with 26 points, followed by Isaiah Collier’s 17 and Cody Williams ‘ 15. Despite a solid effort from these players, the Jazz could not recover from the Hornets’ explosive offensive performance.

Charlotte’s dominance was clear throughout the game. By halftime, they had built a 47-point advantage, shooting 16 three-pointers to Utah’s 14 field goals.

A 21-4 run in the third quarter further sealed the victory, as the Hornets increased their lead to 56 points. The result marks the second-largest margin of victory in Hornets’ history.
