Gibraltar’s girls basketball team fell behind by 24 points at halftime and, after scoring only six points in the second half, ended up losing Friday’s Packerland Conference contest at Algoma, 63-20.

Azucena Jauregui led the Vikings with 10 points. Celeste Jauregui added six points.

The Wolves had three players score in double figures, led by Reagan Schneider with a game-high 15 points, followed by Lauren Loucks and Claire Gerdmann with 10 points apiece.

Gibraltar, which dropped to 3-8 overall and 1-5 in the Packerland, hosts a non-conference game Tuesday against Stockbridge, prior to the Jan. 17 Packerland matchup at home against Kewaunee.
