An NBA trade proposal sending Ja Morant from the Memphis Grizzlies to the Milwaukee Bucks has been created.

NBA writer Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report created the following trade proposal between the Grizzlies and Bucks:

Milwaukee Bucks get: Ja Morant

Memphis Grizzlies get: Kyle Kuzma, Kevin Porter Jr., Gary Harris and a 2032 first-round pick swap

The Bucks are interested in trading for Morant, according to NBA reporter Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Milwaukee, in 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings, is looking to acquire more talent around superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Remember, the Bucks have made several blockbuster moves in the Antetokounmpo era. They acquired Jrue Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans and Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers and signed Myles Turner this past offseason.

This NBA trade proposal would pair Morant with Antetokounmpo and Turner.

“On the court, the two stars would put loads of pressure on the rim, but that aforementioned lack of jump shooting would put pressure on the rest of the rotation,” Bailey wrote. “Fortunately, players like Turner, A.J. Green and Ryan Rollins can be reasonably relied upon to come through.”

Morant is open to getting traded by the Grizzlies, sources told DallasHoopsJournal. Memphis is entertaining offers to potentially trade Morant.

Multiple teams are pursuing Morant in trade talks and rival executives believe the Grizzlies are prioritizing draft picks and young players in return.

Memphis is considering multiple paths forward amid the emergence of several promising young players. While the Grizzlies remain open to continuing with Morant as a focal part of their core with Jaren Jackson Jr., most people around the NBA believe Morant will be traded this season.

Morant has played in 18 games this season. He’s averaging 19.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game while shooting 40.1% from the field, 20.8% from beyond the arc and 90.0% from the free-throw line.

A two-time All-Star, Morant is making $39.4 million this season. He will make $42.2 million next season and $44.9 million in the 2027-28 season, the final year of his contract.

The 2019-20 Rookie of the Year, Morant has only led the Grizzlies to the second round of the playoffs one time. He’s also gotten in trouble by the NBA for showing a gun on IG Live multiple times.

Morant, 26, has career averages of 22.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game. He was the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and several scouts believe the guard needs a fresh start.
