The Philadelphia 76ers will return home on Wednesday to begin a 6-game homestand with a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. After a 3-game road trip, the Sixers will look to build on their success and earn some important wins over the Cavs–these teams face off again on Friday. Philadelphia is currently the No. 5 seed and hold a 1.5 game lead over the No. 7 seed Cavs at the moment.
As far as the injury report is concerned, Joel Embiid (left knee injury management, left adductor soreness) is listed as probable for this contest. He has played in seven of the past eight games only missing Sunday’s loss to the Toronto Raptors.
Paul George (left knee injury management) and VJ Edgecombe (left adductor contusion) are also listed as probable.
The Sixers and the Cavs have not faced each other since Nov. 5 which Cleveland ended up winning. This is an opportunity for Philadelphia to get some revenge back at home. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST on Wednesday.
