After a resounding clutch time win on Tuesday, the Heat will look to keep it going as they host the rival Boston Celtics.

The Miami Heat are back in action Thursday night, as they will play host to Jaylen Brown and the rival Boston Celtics inside the Kaseya Center.
After a slow start to the season, the Celtics currently sit at the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 24-15 record. As Jayson Tatum has been sidelined while rehabbing an achilles tear, Jaylen Brown has elevated his game to a true number one option for them in Tatum’s absence. Brown is averaging a career-high 29.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists on nearly 50% shooting and 38% from 3-point range.
The Heat will have limited options in the rotation able to contain the superstardom of Brown, as Davion Mitchell is listed as doubtful after suffering a shoulder contusion in Miami’s previous win over the Phoenix Suns. Jaime Jaquez Jr. is questionable and Tyler Herro and Nikole Jovic are both probable. There’s a strong chance that coach Erik Spoelstra could test out a Herro and Powell starting backcourt in Mitchell’s absence, which could pave a way for Kel’el Ware to potentially get more reps with the starters.
Miami’s exciting win over the Suns was one of the best of the season thus far. Bam Adebayo snapped out of his scoring slump with an elite 29-point two-way performance, as Herro and Powell each added 23+ points as well. They will aim to upset Boston and secure back-to-back victories at home.
