Timberwolves Notes
Player Notes
• Julius Randle led the way for the Timberwolves tonight with a season-high and game-high-tying 39 points on 14-of-29 shooting and four rebounds, marking his seventh 30+ point game of the season (92nd career) and the most points he has scored since joining the Timberwolves prior to the 2024-25 season. Randle is one of 17 players in the NBA this season who has scored 10+ points in every game he has played.
• Playing in his 110th game with Wolves tonight, Randle now has tallied 2,237 total points, 783 total rebounds and 550 total assists, becoming the first player in franchise history to record 2,000+ points/750+ rebounds/550+ assists in their first 110 games with the team.
• At the end of the third quarter, Randle had 29 points, the most points he has scored through three quarters this season.
• Naz Reid ended the night with 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including 5-of-7 from three and 10 rebounds, marking his eighth 20+ point game off the bench this season (32nd career) and his third 20+ point/10+ rebound game off the bench this season (fourth career). Reid became the second player in franchise history to record 4+ games off the bench with 20+ points and 10+ rebounds (Kevin Love: five games).
• Tonight marked Reid’s fifth game this season with 5+ made threes, the most among all centers in the NBA. Tonight also marked his 11th such career game off the bench, the second most in franchise history (Malik Beasley:14 games).
• Reid scored 17 points in the first half while shooting 75.0% from the field, his second such first half this season. He is one of two Timberwolves players to do so in the first half this season (Jaden McDaniels – Jan. 13, 2026 at Milwaukee: 17 Points, 100% Field Goal Pct; 6-of-6).
• McDaniels finished with 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, a game-high-tying two steals and a team-high-tying two blocks, marking his 10th game this season with 15+ points and 5+ rebounds (56th career).
• At the 5:51 mark of the first quarter, McDaniels knocked down his first three-point shot of the night, giving him his 500th career three-point make. McDaniels became the fifth player in Timberwolves franchise history to record 500+ made threes.
• Tonight marked McDaniels’ sixth game this season with 2+ blocks and 2+ steals (27th career). McDaniels’ 27 career games with 2+ steals and 2+ blocks are the second most by any Wolves player since he was selected in the 2020 NBA Draft (Anthony Edwards: 29 games).
• Rudy Gobert added 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting, a team-high 13 rebounds, a team-high-tying two steals and a team-high-tying two blocks, marking his 18th double-double of the season (494th career) and his 10th such game this season with multiple blocks (329th career). Gobert’s 329 career games ties Anthony Davis for the 12th most 10+ point/10+ rebound/2+ block games in NBA history (Blocks became an official stat prior to the 1973-74 season).
