In Thursday’s victory over the Jazz, Klay Thompson led the way for the Mavericks as he recorded 26 points and six assists while Naji Marshall added 22 points, six rebounds and four assists of his own.

Now Dallas will try to grab another victory at home on Saturday as they face off against the Jazz once again.

On the other side, Utah enters Saturday’s contest with a 14-27 record after losing on the road to Dallas on Thursday night.

Brice Sensabaugh led the way for the Jazz in Thursday’s loss as he ended the game with 27 points and five rebounds off the bench while Keyonte George recorded 17 points, three rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Jazz, they have three players listed on their injury report for Saturday, including star forward Lauri Markkanen.

Utah has ruled out Markkanen due to an illness as he will miss his third consecutive contest on Saturday.

With Markkanen sidelined once again, Kyle Filipowski, Cody Williams and Kyle Anderson could continue to have increased roles.

The Jazz have also ruled out Walker Kessler and Georges Niang as they both remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

Dallas has listed Flagg as doubtful due to a left ankle sprain and he is expected to miss his second consecutive contest.

With Flagg likely to be sidelined once again, Caleb Martin and Ryan Nembhard could both be in line for increased roles.

The Mavericks have also listed Gafford as doubtful due to a right ankle sprain and he is also expected to miss his second straight game.

P.J. Washington has been listed as probable due to right ankle injury management and he is expected to play in Saturday’s matchup while Max Christie is also expected to play as he has been listed as probable with an illness.

Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Dante Exum and Dereck Lively II have all been ruled out as they continue to recover from injuries.
