As expected, the Kentucky Wildcats did not crack the latest AP Top 25 Poll. However, they did receive 20 votes while also knocking Tennessee out of the AP Top 25 for the first time since March of 2021.
The Coaches Top 25 Poll has Kentucky receiving just five votes.
As for Kenny Brooks’ squad, they fell to No. 11 in the latest women’s AP Poll.
KenPom has Mark Pope’s Cats at No. 24.
Andy Katz’s Power 37 has Kentucky at No. 22.
The CBS Sports Top 25 And 1 does not include the Wildcats.
BartTorvik has the men’s team ranked No. 39 and the women’s team ranked No. 16.
Finally, the NET rankings have the men ranked No. 28 and the women at No. 12.
Where do you think the Cats should be ranked?

Kentucky Basketball has been clutch the last couple of weeks, putting together a three-game winning streak with a home blowout of Mississippi State, followed by narrow road victories over LSU and No.24 Tennessee.
Slow starts this season have caused members of Big Blue Nation to age a few years, but second-half adjustments and timely shot-making have been a solution to those early struggles.
Despite losing point guard Jaland Lowe to season-ending shoulder surgery, the Wildcats have surprisingly found ways to move the basketball around during their three-game winning streak.
If Kentucky can continue to take care of business against unranked Texas & Ole Miss in back-to-back home games, they could very well find themselves knocking on the door of reappearing in the Top-25 rankings.
As far as other rankings go, DRatings has moved Kentucky up from No. 29 to No. 26, and Haslametrics has bumped them from No. 25 to No. 23 while EvanMiya stood pat with the Wildcats at No. 26.
Kentucky will face Texas on Wednesday at 7 PM ET with coverage on SEC Network and Ole Miss on Saturday at Noon ET with coverage on ESPN.
For the women’s team, they suffered a tough loss at Mississippi State on Sunday. Head coach Kenny Brooks and his team fell 71-59 as Teonni Key remained sidelined while recovering from a dislocated elbow.
While the Wildcats did rally past Florida earlier in the week, a loss to the unranked Bulldogs will surely drop them a spot or two in the Top-25.
Next up for Brooks and his team is a trip to Tennessee on Thursday (6:30 PM ET) before hosting Georgia on Sunday (Noon ET), with both games scheduled to be televised on SEC Network.
