The NBA trade deadline is approaching and there are several former All-Star players who could have a new home for the second half of the season.

While the biggest names right now include Ja Morant and Anthony Davis, there are a few other names worth watching. Other players who did not make this list (including Michael Porter Jr., Coby White, Nic Claxton, RJ Barrett, and Anfernee Simons) could find themselves on our next update in the future.

But for now, here are a few of the most intriguing players potentially on the market and where they are potentially headed.

1. Ja Morant

Rumored destination(s):Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks

It is no secret around the league that the Memphis Grizzlies are listening to offers about two-time NBA All-Star and former NBA Rookie of the Year winner Ja Morant. However, recent reporting on the saga suggests that both Morant and the Grizzlies front office may prefer that he stay in Memphis. If he is traded, the Grizzlies would reportedly want a young player and a first-round pick in exchange. For what it is worth: Public records indicate that Morant recently bought a home in Miami.

2. Anthony Davis

Rumored destination(s): Toronto Raptors, Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors

Ever since the owner of the Mavericks essentially admitted that trading for Anthony Davis was a mistake when he fired former Dallas executive Nico Harrison, it has become clear that the former No. 1 pick is likely available for any team interested. While he is currently injured, there are still a few teams consistently mentioned as likely suitors. It has become increasingly unlikely that the Golden State Warriors make this move, but both the Toronto Raptors and Atlanta Hawks are worth watching.

3. Karl-Anthony Towns

Rumored destination(s): Memphis Grizzlies, Charlotte Hornets, Orlando Magic

As the New York Knicks continue to underperform, it should not shock anyone if Karl-Anthony Towns hears his name in trade rumors. Insiders are at least “monitoring” this considering he does not look like the most natural fit playing for Knicks head coach Mike Brown. However, even during a slower year for Towns, his productivity is still undeniable and he would offer tremendous upside as a floor-spacing big man.

4. Domantas Sabonis

Rumored destination(s): Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns

Three-time NBA All-Star big man Domantas Sabonis does not have much use to the Sacramento Kings now that they have proven themselves as one of the worst teams in the league. Kings executive Scott Perry is reportedly willing to listen to offers for veterans including Sabonis as well as DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, which should come as no surprise as the team continues to plummet in the standings. Sabonis still has three years left on his deal but has not lived up to expectations this season due to injury. The Raptors look like a particularly interesting fit for Sabonis.

5. Jonathan Kuminga

Rumored destination(s): Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers

After a trade demand, former No. 7 overall pick Jonathan Kuminga is unlikely to remain with the Warriors for long. However, during a recent press conference, Golden State executive Mike Dunleavy indicated that there is not much trade demand for Kuminga. If he is moved before the deadline, do not expect a massive return.

6. Bennedict Mathurin

Rumored destination(s):New Orleans Pelicans

One potential deal to watch is former No. 6 overall pick Bennedict Mathurin moving from the Indiana Pacers to the New Orleans Pelicans for big man Yves Missi, per Jake Fischer, so that the Pacers could have a center after losing Myles Turner. Indiana’s front office is reportedly interested in Onyeka Okongwu from the Hawks and Daniel Gafford from the Mavericks as well as Clippers big man Ivica Zubac.
