Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves squandered a late lead in a 120-115 loss to the Chicago Bulls at Target Center on Thursday night, extending their losing streak to four games.
Minnesota appeared poised to snap their skid when they held a six-point advantage with approximately four minutes remaining in regulation. However, the Bulls stormed back with a decisive 16-5 run to close out the game and hand the Timberwolves their fourth consecutive defeat.
Julius Randle paced Minnesota’s offense with a game-high 30 points, but his efforts weren’t enough to overcome the team’s fourth-quarter collapse.
Minnesota will look to end their slide when they return to Target Center to host the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
