BYU Basketball’s got a rivalry game on Saturday afternoon with the University of Utah Utes visiting the Marriott Center.
BYU are getting back into the action after suffering its second loss of the season at Texas Tech a week ago. The final score in that game was 84-71. The BYU Cougars’ overall record is 16-2 and 4-1 in the Big 12.

The Utah Utes have a 9-10 record on the year and are 1-5 in conference play. Utah played last on Tuesday at Kansas State, losing to the Wildcats by a final score of 81-78. The Utes’ conference win came one game prior, over TCU.
BYU and Utah already met on the court this season back on Jan. 10 in Salt Lake City. The Cougars edged out the Utes in that one, by a final score of 89-84. Sat. will be the 268th meeting between the rival squads, and the 48th at the Marriott Center. BYU has the 136-131 edge in the series. ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives BYU a 94 percent chance of winning the game.
