The Phoenix Suns begin a five-game homestand this week against the Miami Heat at Mortgage Matchup Center.

The first four matchups are against Eastern Conference teams.

Sunday, Jan. 25: Heat

Last time: The Suns lost their away game to the Heat, 127-121, to begin a six-game road trip Jan. 13. Bam Adebayo scored a game-high 29 points, hitting 4-of-6 from distance with the latter two made 3s coming late in the game.

Last time: Phoenix upended Brooklyn, 126-117, Jan. 19 during the six-game road trip. Dillon Brooks, Devin Booker and Collin Gillespie combined for 73 points as the Suns led by as many as 20 points.

Last time: The Suns fell to the East-leading Pistons, 108-105, Jan. 15 in the second game of that six-game road trip. Phoenix was without Booker, who suffered a left ankle sprain in the third quarter against Miami.

Friday, Jan. 30: Cleveland Cavaliers

Last time: Phoenix suffered a 129-113 loss to the Cavs on New Year’s Eve in first-year head coach Jordan Ott’s return to Cleveland. Ott was an assistant with the Cavaliers last season before becoming head coach of the Suns.

Donovan Mitchell posted 34 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds in 30 minutes in leading Cleveland to the win. The Cavs led by as many as 24 points.

The Suns conclude the five-game homestand Sunday, Feb. 1, against the Los Angeles Clippers. Phoenix is 2-1 versus the Clippers this season.

Phoenix is 14-5 at home this season. Last season, the Suns went 24-17 at home in a 36-win season.
