The NBA on Monday unveiled the list of 28 players invited to participate in the 2026 Rising Stars Game on Feb. 13 as part of All-Star Weekend in Inglewood, California.
The annual event features four seven-player teams competing in a three-game tournament at the Intuit Dome. The two semifinal games will be played to a target score of 40, and the championship game will be played to a target score of 25.
The pool of players for the showcase consists of 10 rookies, 11 second-year players and seven players from the G League. The 21 players in the NBA will be drafted into three teams, and the seven players in the G League will comprise the fourth team.
The NBA players were selected by assistant coaches, while the league office chose the G League players. Teams submitted a rookie ballot and a sophomore ballot per coaching staff, featuring four frontcourt players, four guards and two additional players at either position.
Hall of Famers Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady will serve as honorary coaches for the game and will select their teams in a draft set for Tuesday (7 p.m. EST, Peacock). Former 11-year veteran Austin Rivers will coach the G League team.
