On Tuesday, the Washington Wizards (10-34) host the Portland Trail Blazers (23-24) at Capital One Arena, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Wizards dropped their ninth straight game on Saturday, falling 119-115 to the Charlotte Hornets. They managed to cut an 18-point deficit to two points multiple times in the final two minutes, but couldn’t get any closer after Miles Bridges sealed the win at the free-throw line.
Tre Johnson led the Wizards with a career-high 26 points and six assists, Alexandre Sarr tallied 24 points and Justin Champagnie added 15 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson is one of seven rookies to record at least 25 points and five assists in a game this season.
The Trail Blazers are coming off a 102-94 loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday to begin a three-game East Coast road trip. They never led in the contest after trailing 32-11 at the end of the first quarter, shooting just 19% from the field in the period.
Jerami Grant produced 19 points off the bench to lead the Trail Blazers, while Toumani Camara scored 18 points and eight rebounds and Jrue Holiday added 14 points. The group has lost two straight after winning 11 out of its last 14 games.
