The Oklahoma City Thunder will travel on the road to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. This will be the third matchup of the season between the two squads. They split the first two meetings as OKC lost a close game on Dec. 19.

The Thunder (38-10) picked up a badly-needed 104-95 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 29 points while Chet Holmgren tallied a 20-point and 14-rebound double-double.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves (29-19) enjoyed a 118-105 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. Julius Randle dominated with 31 points and five rebounds. Anthony Edwards had 20 points and six assists.

Thunder 114, Timberwolves 110: Help has arrived. After being out for a month, Hartenstein is set to return. The rebounding woes have reflected his importance to the Thunder. While they still have several players out, his return should provide a jolt of energy on both sides of the floor. Talk about timing, too, as OKC will need some size against a Randle-Gobert frontcourt. The reigning NBA champion has been in a rut recently. Getting a road win over a team most consider one of your top rivals is the type of thing that can get you feeling yourself again.
