The Boston Celtics will play host to a familiar Eastern Conference foe for the last game of its current homestand vs. the Milwaukee Bucks this Sunday (Feb. 1) afternoon. With the 2026 NBA trade deadline just around the corner on the 5th, moves made by either ball club could impact the outcome of this contest.
But as things currently stand, we expect Boston to come out on top in this game so long as the Celtics do not play down to a version of the Bucks without a certain star Milwaukee player currently on the injury report beyond the Wednesday deadline.
Records, standing, and streaks
At present, the Celtics have a 30-18 record coming into the tilt. That has them third in the Eastern Conference standings.
The Milwaukee Bucks are the owners of an 18-28 record and a four-game losing streak, good enough for 12th place in the East.
