The Golden State Warriors are so desperate to win another championship with Stephen Curry, they may be willing to blow up the rest of the roster to do it.

There is a sense among the team that everyone on the Warriors roster except Curry could be traded by Thursday, according to Anthony Slater of ESPN. The team is known to be chasing Giannis Antetokounmpo, and making that trade would likely force Golden State to give up significant pieces and include some large salaries.

This fits in with the idea that even core players like Draymond Green could be dealt. Green’s name has come up in some of the Antetokounmpo rumors, though he insists that he is unbothered by that.

The report implies that other names like Moses Moody could even be in play, though the Warriors would likely prefer not to make that move. Jonathan Kuminga would presumably be part of any Antetokounmpo deal either way.

The Warriors enter play Sunday at 27-23, and Jimmy Butler’s season-ending injury has left their roster with a gaping hole. It is fair to question whether adding Antetokounmpo would make them good enough to win a championship, but they are unquestionably willing to try.
