Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark made waves on Sunday in her NBA broadcasting debut. The two-time WNBA All-Star exchanged her basketball uniform for a more professional look as she took center stage for NBC’s pregame broadcast of the game between the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers.
NBC recently commissioned Clark to be a special contributor for two NBA games. Her debut was on Sunday, as the 23-year-old appeared in the pregame show alongside NBA icons Reggie Miller and Carmelo Anthony. Veteran broadcaster Maria Taylor was on the panel, too, completing a star-studded lineup for Clark’s first broadcast.

Clark took to social media shortly after her first NBA broadcast. The Fever star had jokes as she pointed out how small she looked alongside her co-broadcasters. The Iowa Hawkeyes icon hilariously revealed her plan to wear stilts on their next show.
In her post, Clark shared a video from the NBA in which Miller offers a strong take on her. According to the Hall of Famer, he has dropped to third in Indiana’s rankings as the best shooter.
“There’s a new shooter from Indiana,” he said. “I’m the third-best shooter in the state of Indiana now. It goes Caitlin, Tyrese [Haliburton], then now myself.”

Clark refused to accept Miller’s claim. “That’s not true,” she countered, also pointing out that Haliburton might have something to say about Miller’s proposed rankings as well.
The Fever shared the clip on Instagram along with their reaction to the NBA legend’s bold statement.
“Reggie Miller showing love to @caitlinclark22 and @pacers guard @tyresehaliburton 🔥😂” the team posted on Instagram.
Miller played 18 years in the NBA, all with the Indiana Pacers. A five-time All-Star and a three-time All-NBA shooting guard, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters of all time. Miller amassed 2,560 three-pointers in his career. He is seventh all-time in the NBA for most career triples.

As for Clark, she will be back for seconds on Mar. 29. She will rejoin the NBC crew for their coverage of the game between the Knicks and the defending champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, at Paycom Center.
